Activities:

Chambon sur Voueize, Gouzon and Evaux les Bains each have their own Office du Tourism where English is normally spoken. These will have information about brocantes, evening concerts, markets, local events, fetes and other activities. They are open most days except Sundays and Mondays. Information is also available at the house.

Moderate walking:

There are many beautiful walks, details of some are on the walking page. Maps and local walking guides can be found at the house.

Easy cycling:

If you bring bicycles, the local area is perfect for short or long rides through quiet, winding country roads and green lanes, quickly reaching lakes and rivers.

There is plenty to keep you occupied in the local area. From painting and sketching to swimming or fishing; a visit to a local chateau; to the beautiful old city of Montluçon, catching up on reading; or just going nowhere and relishing the peace.
